Google Into Hotels

01 August 2011

Google has started a new service to help customers find hotels. Although only available for certain US cities at the moment, this could be the start of something big if past Google activities are anything to go by.

The new service is very fast with no advertising to distract and provides a direct link to a hotel's website as well as prices from numerous third-party services.

It will be interesting to see how this develops over the coming year but if successful it could fundamentally change how customers search for accommodation.

More information is available here and the service itself can be trialed for US cities at www.google.com/hotelfinder/

Further details have emerged and can be read here.
