Enhance your career Management Development for the Hospitality, Hotel and Tourism Industry
An Information Evening
Tuesday 27th May, 6.00 pm – 8.30pm,

Belfast Campus, York Street.The University of Ulster's Department of Hospitality & Tourism Management is looking forward to an exciting new phase in its development. We are relocating our customer facing, operational management courses into the heart of Belfast, in the renowned Cathedral Quarter and in the midst of Northern Ireland's growing tourist & hospitality industry.
We are hosting an open evening to showcase our Postgraduate Courses which have been designed for people working in the Industry who have a degree in any discipline and want to improve both their effectiveness as managers and their career potential. We will also be introducing our Undergraduate courses, designed to develop supervisory and managerial skills for your industry. All courses are available for part time and full time study.
Mr Howard Hastings, Managing Director of Hastings' Hotels and Mr Alan Clarke, CEO of the Northern Ireland Tourist Board will be giving presentations on the growth of the Industry in NI and the mushrooming career opportunities for well qualified managers. (Research by People 1st shows that management skills are in high demand).
The event will inform you about developments in the School that are intended to grow and improve managerial competencies in our industry. We have three postgraduate programmes at Masters level:-
- International Tourism Development.
- International Hotel & Tourism Management.
- Executive Leadership.
We also offer three undergraduate programmes at Bachelor of Science level on the Belfast campus, these are:-
- International Hospitality Management
- International Hotel & Tourism Management.
- Culinary Arts
Undergraduate programmes in International Tourism Management, Leisure and Events Management and Consumer Studies will be delivered on the Coleraine campus.
